Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 05.20.2025

Welcome to Lodgy. We value your trust and are committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the manner in which Lodgy, Inc. ("Lodgy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, processes, and retains your personal information when you interact with our platform through our websites, mobile applications, APIs, email communications, or any other services we make available (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services").

This Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website,
  • Customers who book moving or logistics services through Lodgy,
  • Independent contractors or third-party service providers who accept jobs via Lodgy,
  • Any other individuals who access or use our Services.

By using Lodgy's Services, you signify that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Services.

We may revise this Policy periodically, and such changes will become effective upon posting. We encourage you to review it frequently for any updates.

1. Children and Individuals Under the Age of 18

Lodgy's Services are not intended for, nor directed to, individuals under the age of eighteen (18), or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal information from individuals who do not meet this age requirement.

Parental Consent Not Sufficient

Even with parental or guardian consent, individuals under the age threshold are not permitted to use our Services. This is because Lodgy operates a platform involving service engagements, financial transactions, and geolocation-based logistics, which require users to possess legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

Prohibition on Submission of Data Relating to Minors

You may not provide Lodgy with any information about individuals under 18, even if you are their legal guardian, unless we specifically request such information for purposes directly related to a lawful contractual obligation (e.g., scheduling considerations for household occupancy). We explicitly prohibit the submission of personal data related to minors as part of user-generated content, move descriptions, messages to contractors, reviews, or any communication via our Services.

Remedial Measures

If Lodgy becomes aware that personal information has been inadvertently collected from or about a minor, we will take commercially reasonable steps to delete such data from our systems. This includes information collected through user error, circumvention of age verification mechanisms, or misinformation.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe we have collected information from your child without your consent or in violation of this Policy, please contact us immediately at support@lodgy.ai.

2. Collection of Personal Information

Lodgy collects personal information in a variety of ways, both directly from you and through automated technologies or third-party integrations, in order to deliver our Services, operate our platform effectively, and meet our contractual, regulatory, and operational obligations.
